Mr. t,
Have you built your pole barn yet?
The reason I asked, my son just built one and we are fixing to insulate it also.

Thanks for your help with all my other questions on insulating my sons pole barn.
I have one more. The roof has 2x4 trusses 24" on center. There will be some storage needed in the attic. Because of this is there anything wrong with stapling insulation at the very top of the trusses next to the roof.
Then there is the question of: Should the attic have cooler air between the ceiling and the roof? Or am I misunderstanding something here.
The soffits are open on both sides with vinyl siding covering it plus 2 eave vents and 2 roof vents.
Hope I have not confused you.
Thanks

Curious Homeowner,
It is always best to keep more or additional questions within the same original thread.
For example: now I ask, why insulate a pole barn at all???

Fred,
I am sorry if I messed you up among threads.
What I don't understand is your feelings on insulation, instead of giving me an answer to my question.
