Hope someone can help me?..my 27" Samsung televison intermittently makes an unbareble high pitch ringing or squealing sound...does it regardless of the channel and if I press mute button or not...anything I can do myself? or what it might cost?..thanks in advance:confused:

You have a part ringing inside the set. Take the back off and wait for it to start. Take a non metalic stick and lightly touch parts on the board. It should stop making noise if you touch the right one. A dab of silicone RTV will seal it for good.
