Can anybody give me direction on how to install a stair runner? I'm planning on putting one on the staircase leading down into my basement. It will be "waterfall" down the stairs. I have read some of the discussions regarding tack strips verses tackless. I plan on using a manufactured runner that can be purchased from Lowe's/home depot.
