First you want to scrpae up all chunks of wax with a spoon to get rid of the major portion.
Find yourself a paper bag like the ones at the grocery stores (brown paper bag) cut a piece bigger than the wax spill, then find an iron like the ones you iron your clothes with and heat it up, but not really hot. Place the brown paper on top of the wax and press the iron on top of the bag (make sure the paper is big enough it doesnt allow the iron to directly touch the carpet) the heat from the iron will draw the wax thru to the bag, keep repeating with new brown paper untill the wax is completely up.
you can substitute the paper bag for a white towel if you want to go thru some towels.
Good luck!
