Hello - I'm new here. I have a 5 foot chimney pipe sticking out of my roof. It's quite unsightly, but at least I have a new woodburning fireplace. I would like to give the chimney pipe a finished look, but don't necessarily want to spend days adding hundreds of pounds of brick and mortar to my roof.

Is there a "faux" alternative? Perhaps a fibergalss piece that looks like a birck chimney, that I could simply slide over the chimney pipe?

Perhaps, a simulated brick paneling that might be suitable? I am having terrible luck finding anything that I think would work.

If there isn't any product out there like a fiberglass chimney, do you know where I'd find directions on how to build a masonry surround for the chimney pipe? I pretty handy with brick walls and foundations, but I yhave no idea how to attach bricks to a 9x12 pitch roof.

Thank you for your help! Michael B.

This cultured brick may be what you want. It comes in panels and is much simpler to install that regular bricks.

Hope this helps.
