We redid our kitchen which is below both of our bathrooms. The remodel called for re-routing the pipes leading to the heaters to both bathrooms. Initially (the first day) both bathroom heaters worked fine. But shortly after that one of the bathroom heaters stopped working. We have steam heat (the radiators have 2 pipes one leading in that has the key on it and one leading out at the bottom of the radiator)-our house is approx. 70 yrs old. We have always had the heater knocking sounds but now the sounds are really loud and, as I said, the one radiator isn't putting out any heat. Any idea what may have caused it to stop working, or how we can remedy this without having to hire a plumber? We just can't afford to hire anyone at this point, since I became a stay at home mom 2.5 yrs ago.
Thanks so much!
