We want to install laminate flooring, Armstrong, glueless, swiftloc.
But first we have to level the floor in a couple of spots. I've looked at several different methods and compounds to use and am very confused.
We might have as much as a 1/4 inch dip in one floor.
Any suggestions as to what to use, how to apply it, etc.
The laminate will go over plywood subflooring.

Do you have access to the underside of the subfloor?
If so you could shim between the subfloor and joist.
