Has anyone had experience with the icynene insulatiuon system? An engineer I work with is designing a house and is considering it. The only thing I know about it is what I have seen on commercials.

He said it has an R value of about 20 for a 2x6 wall (so its about the same as fiberglass) and has an excellent NRC value. He doesn't anticipate needing to fish anything in the exterior walls in the future because he feels everything is going toward wireless and he is putting in state of the art everything (he's an electrical engineer).

I would appreciate any comments from someone who has used it or has some practical experience with it.

All the information that I have been able to find is self-congratulatory, promotional information from sellers or promoters. Nothing objective lying about.
