I just bought a home that has a small half bath (maybe 6' x 4') that I am going to redo. The previous owners apparently tried peeling off some of the wallpaper but what didn't come off easily was left on the wall and then painted over it. I tried scoring the wall to peel off the painted wallpaper since none of the ends are curling or anything but I ended up peeling off the top layer of drywall. Rather than trying to keep peeling off paper and ruin my drywall I thought I might try putting texture on the wall that could hide the ugly, semi-papered walls. My problem is I have no idea how to start.
What kind of techniques can I use and what steps do I follow?
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks,
Cath

Nobody seems to have an answer for you in this forum!!! you might want to try posting your question in the Wallpaper or Painting forum......i think they deal more with this sort of thing! :)
