Have bedroom in back part of home which is the farthest from the attic a/c unit. Was told have basic r-rating flex duct and that if I switch to a much higher rating since the air has to flow some distance that this could make the room cooler. It is the warmest in the house. Is this possible. Is there anything that could be wrapped around the duct instead of replacing. Will cost around $300 for replacing with higher r rating. Rest of home is fine.
