I need help choosing a replacement evaporative for my 2000 Sq. Ft. home. I live in a dry desert region where the Temp. ranges between 90-110 deg.F. My current cooler is a 6500CFM square, four pad, downdraft that is ducted into each room and has return registers into the attic. It works fine but it is shot. After checking several web sites I have noticed that evaporative cooler design and materials has changed alot. Can anyone offer me advice as to which brand and type offers the most cooling efficiency.
