We want to put a wood floor over our concrete patio. Has anyone done this before? Any hints or suggestions as to the best way to go about this? TIA

Wiil this wood be exposed to the weather? Is the patio under roof?

The patio is a covered, open sided patio. It will be exposed to weather of all kinds. Denver, CO. I know wood is not the best for this but it's really what we want, and are prepared to keep it sealed.
Our house looks very much like the one in your landscaping pics- even black and white. The porch is about the same size, but does not have brick posts. They are currently wrought iron and we are going to put in wood there too.

It seems to me that if you solve any drainage problem, you could put pressure treated wood on top of the concrete.
