I have part of a vinyl kitchen floor that squeaks in a mfg. home with a crawl space. The squeaking is only along one joist but the area isn't accessible by the crawl space because of the return-air and other piping, center foundation support, etc. under that section. Are these my only options: Cut out sections of vinyl and screw flooring to joists and then patch the vinyl OR, screw through the vinyl to floor joists and then install new flooring. Thanks for any suggestions short of chainsawing...
