I just installed a new door goiong into my house. The sill plate from the old door was wider then the new door that I had installed. Now I have a 1-1.5" gap between the new door sill and the floor; also the door sill is only about .5" higher then the floor I messed up installing the door and didn't raise it up. What s the best way to fix the gap? I also need to put support under the new door since if I step on the door sill it gives. Any suggestions? Please e-mail me for the answer at travis11@ptd.net

Thanks,

Travis
