Hello, just finished a project where we used some paperback corner bead instead of metal reinforced corners on our gypsum board.

After applying a few coats of mud I know find that the paper bead has some air bubbles which are very apparent in many areas.

What did I do wrong?
How do I fix this without starting over if poossible.

Thanks.

This is in the paper part of the bead? If so treat it just like a bubble in a seam tape. Cut it back a bit & skim in with joint compound. If the bead is twisted or not sitting right, I'd probably rip it off & do it over, but I'm a perfectionist.
