I rent, and the apartment I am in does not have a fan in the bathroom. Mold and mildew seem to "grow" way too quickly. I was wondering, if I were to get a dehumidifier would this help to remedy the problem? As always, thank you so much for your help!

vaavaavooom,
Best thing is to talk to landlord and suggest an exhaust fan installation. Not sure what type of apartment you are in, one level building, multi-level or if a window existing in bathroom. It is best to talk to the landlord.
Dehumidifier is not the solution as it cannot evacuate the moisture fast enough to curb problem.
Good Luck!

It's one level and there is a window in the bathroom.
I'll check w/landlord but it's probably doubtful will be successful there.
Thanks for your reply!
