Recently my front door has been really hard to open. I have to kick it just to nudge the thing open.
Any advice on what the problem might be?

OBVIOUSLY, it's sticking -- find out where! Top? Latch side? Bottom?
With the door closed, look at the gap across the top -- should be about 1/8".
Down the latch side -- same thing. should be about 1/8" gap between the door and the jamb, top to bottom.
Across the bottom, you should have a shoe or threshold with a seal. You won't see a gap.
I'm guessing that you will find that the door is sticking at the top of the latch side.
First, tighten the screws in the hinges, both on the jamb and on the door.
If that doesn't work, REPLY to this post, let us know what you see, and we will go from there.

Any recent water on the door or porch that may have caused some wood to swell?
