How to install and what kind of insulation should I use on my garage doors?

If you have a metal garage door, first check with the manufacturer website. Many of them have panel inserts designed for their doors. If that does not work for you, you can make your own panels out of rigid fiberglass boards. I usually cover the boards with sanitess. That's vynal paper used for shelves and draws. I also used in the past an aluminum foil covered bubble wrap that I found at Home Depot one time, worked great. You could also use duct insulation.

Would a honey comb board do the job. Its to keep the cold out. Those metal doors just work like an ice box LOL..

Actually anything you put there will be better than just the metal doors. Naturally any type of insulation will do a better job than honeycomb cardboard.
