I've just finish framing my basement using steal studs, and will be framing my ducks also using steal studs.
my question: I want to insulate the ceiling for noise reduction, can I insulate around the duckwork inside the bulkhead where a lot of noise carries, can the insulation touch the duckwork? if the insulation can't touch the duckwork how much room for clearance is needed?
Thanks Dany

The insulation can touch the ductwork.
