I just finished refinishing my bedroom furniture and I wanted to do something different for the drawer pulls and handles; I wanted to bead them, with the little seed beads, only I'm not sure how to get them on and get them to stay on; Any suggestions? I bought just the cheap wood knobs and want to cover them with the seed beads somehow. Help!

i'm thinking some sort of really thick glue that you could put on the handle, then roll the handle in a bowl filled a couple inches deep with the beads, covering the knob completely. let dry. you would have the beads on the outside of the glue & you would feel the texture of them.
or, if you want to completely cover the beads & leave a smoother finish, what about decoupage? or shellac? you know, that really thick, clear stuff? sorry, never done it so i don't know the specifics.
neat idea, though!
