I have an interior door that always slowly closes. How can I fix it?

The hinges may have loose screws, especially at the top, causing the door to be out of plumb. Check to make sure that all the hinge screws are properly seated.

If the hinges and screws are all intact here's a fix that usually works.

Remove the door hinge pin and give it a tap with a hammer right in the middle. You just want a very slight bend so the hinge pin will go back okay in the hinge.
VOILA - door now stays where you put it.
