I have a Bryant Furnace that is computer controlled and it is blinking with lights saying the following:
Your Inducer is outside valid speed Range ...
1. what is an "inducer"
2. is this something that I can fix myself or should I call a technician. The furnace is pretty new however out of warranty with the exception of the heat exchanger.
if you can help me please let me know ...
Thanks ..

The inducer is a small fan inside the furnace to remove flu-gas. If it's been a while since you've had this tuned up "more than a year" I'd call a pro.
