I'm insulating several walls that are about 1 ft from the foundation walls. How do I keep the insulation from sliding down/falling back once the walls are sheetrocked?
Thanks

If the insulation is faced with kraft paper, staple the flaps on the sides of the batts to the studs. Otherwise, the wall board on the backs of the studs should help hold it in place. Insulation tends to fit rather snugly between studs. If no facing, you could staple through the leading edge of the insulation.
Hope this helps.

There will be no wallboard and the "back" of the studs.
