I have a question.... I was wondering if anyone know how to paint a wall in order to make it look like an old castle.. I really want my place to look like the inside of a castle but im not to sure about how to go about it..... If anyone has a suggestion i would gladly appreciate it.. thanks.

brandon,

Take a look at this. The top photo will enlarge when clicked; and it shows 'stones'.

Hope this helps.

The link chfite provided looks awesome.

I have hung wall paper that looks exactly like that stone wall. If interested, email me and I can get the manuf., pattern number, etc. It hung great and looked even better. I also have several digital pics of the end result.

The only problem I have with that technique is that they dont texture the walls after priming and taping..
There are ways to texture walls involving sponge rollers that make a convincing base for a stone wall.... The dry rolling technique{3 to 4 colors} is all that is needed on top of this once a solid cement colour has been applied as a base.
