I am busy renovating a bathroom and I would like to install a Tub wall.

My question is, can I mount the tub walling ontop (over) the existing tiles as I don't feel like removing the tiles. Messy job and all.

Thanks

most pre fabed tub walls come with a flange that must be attatched to studs. Then you put your wall around the flange. If you attatch the tub surround on top of the wall it will a) look bad, and b) you will have water running behind your tub and rotting your walls, floor etc... So, no, don't do it. Take the time to do what needs to be done.
