I'm preparing to level my slab by spot patching.
What's the preferred technique?
Is there a pattern I should follow when checking flatness - work in squares the size of my stright edge checking flatness at right anges?
Should I mark the slab first then come back and patch?
Should I build up a little excess patch and then use the straight edge to scrape down to level?
I already checked for moisture and slab is very clean.
Thanks

Pull a string line tight across the surface of the concrete. Mark the low spots.
Screed the low spots first and then feather edge around them. I would then skim coat the entire installation area.
