I want to hang a mirror on the back of my bedroom door. The door is a hollow core door from Jeld-Wen. The mirror has brackets to hold it to the door, but I'm wondering if they will simply pull out of the hollow door due to the weight of the mirror. How can I go about safely installing the mirror on the hollow door? Thanks.

The anchors will be sufficient to hold the mirror. As with a picture frame hanging on the wall, there is no horizontal load.

Hope this helps.

So go ahead and use the anchors that Lowes sells with the mirror?

You can use anchors or simple wood screws to mount the mirror brackets. I would use just the screws as they take fewer steps to install a simple full-length mirror.

Hope this helps.
