The temperature in this area right now is in the 30s during the evening and the 70s during the day. I won't be able to lay the wood floor for about a month. Evening temperatures will probably be below freezing at that time and day temperatures will probably average about 50 degrees.
I've read while laying down sealant on the floor that pilot lights on furnaces should be turned off and windows opened for ventilation.
I'm assuming the finishing product I will use to finish the floor will need a temperature above 30 to 50 degrees. If that is true then I will have to run my furnace, risking an explosion. If I open windows for ventailation the temperature may drop below curing temperatures. The floor I will be finishing is one level above where the furnace is placed.
Am I thinking correctly about this? Is there any way I can make this work?
Thanks,
Kent

Use a water based seal.
