Our garage has a tub surround in it. Can you tell me the steps to remove it and cap off the plumbing pipes? We don't want to replace the tub with anything; we just want the additional garage space. Thanks!

If you can get to the backside of unit........there will be screws holding the unit to the studded wall. Cut the screws off between the unit and studs.
Copper piping will require soldered caps and plastic piping with solvent weld caps.
