Hello Kelly, your room is very well done!!! I've got to know, how many different colors did you buy? I see at least six if not more. Did you paint the frame around the lion head or match the whole job to the frame....LOL? Did you free hand or tape off. I'm sure others want to know as well. Perhaps when you have nothing going on sponge or otherwise color in the vent at the left of the entertainment center to match what you have done. I really do like your colors!!!.........Mike

Hi :)

I did paint the frame. :)

I bought two gallons of paint, a warm peach and a warm peachy-mauve. I bought three quarts of paint, a yellow, a warm pink and a deep warm pink. (Probably terrible color descriptions!)

I painted the two walls you don't see the warm peach. It was called Harvest Spice. Then I took all four peach/pink/mauve colors and mixed them willy nilly in eight bowls. I worked from them with the same brush, and just made the swoopy shapes as I went. You can't really tell from the pictures but the colors melt into each other and have a very "just thrown together" look.

The one wall looks a bit different from the other wall. And of course I added a sun on that wall. That was my original vision, a sun set. Then I just had to do the opposite wall too. :) I had a blast!

I have to take a pic of the other wall to show you what I did with it for decor. I spend all of three bucks on it and it looks so cool! I'll get that pic up when I have a chance.

Yes, I do need to sponge the vent. I didn't think of it at the time but it looks silly in white now. :)

Thanks for the nice words! :) Kelly
