I have a screened in patio, but no windows for covering from the snow. What can I do to cover the screens without putting in windows? I cannot afford windows to be installed at this time.
Last year I tried heavy duty plastic, but the wind knocked them down.
Need help fast.

Well, how HEAVY was the plastic and WHAT did you use to fasten it ??
If you use some 10 mil greenhouse type plastic ( look for at garden supply stores or online......and it ain't cheap) and use some 3/4 by 2" or so batten strips screwed down and that OUGHTA hold it unless you have big clear spans.......
But you DO know the long term solution is to install some windows, right ?
That fast enough ? :)
