I have a concrete back patio with brick columns. I would like to enclose this porch with a wood fence, but have no idea what would be the best way to attach the wood to either the concrete patio or the brick colums. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!

Tapcon fasteners work well but are not always attractive, typically a medium blue hex head. You could conterbore and cover them. Most other masonry fasteners require 'spotting' the hole because the anchor is larger than the fastener. You have to drill the fastener hole to align with the anchor. Tapcons allow you to drill through with the same bit.
