The powder room is starting to take a higher priority than other projects according to the admiral-for-life. One of the plans calls for a room with interior dimenisons of 66" by 30". I would put the wall hung or pedistal sink in one end (or in the corner) and the toilet in the other. The door would swing out and be only 27" wide.

Most of my measurements have toilets projecting into the room 28" and sinks needing a min of 15". That is leaving only 23" between the two.

Is this enough or should I be looking for a different solution

godaddy,

The code says that you need a minimum of 21 inches. This is tight but I would personally try to acquire more if possible than the 23.

Good Luck!

I am not sure what your codes are but I am in IL and we just put in a small half bath that is approx. 40" X 40" and believe me it is a tight squeeze. We put in a wall mount apartment size sink and small stool. Good Luck!
