I have a back porch that is just a basic slab of concrete. I want to cover it with flagstone. I am a novice and was wondering the best way to start this project? Should I lay the flagstone directly on the concrete and then fill in the spaces with new concrete? Or put down a layer of concrete and lay the flagstones into that? Are there any good books people could recommend for such a project?
