Can anyone please help me with this problem. I wish to cover my dining room chairs but have great difficulty folding the corners so they look neat and tidy.

The fabric needs to be stretched around the corner. When pulling on the fabric, pull towards the center of the chair, do this before, during and after rounding the corner. The foam or filling at the corners will depress. Don't be afraid to use more than just a few staples. If your foam or filling that is fairly thick and you are using a heavy weight fabric, it is probably best to sew on the drop material, otherwise the corner will have to have a fold. Good Luck-Steve
