We replaced the windows in our house and are currently working on the trimming. We have sheetrock in the exposed ledge (windows aren't as deep as the old ones) and are using bullnose trim. Need some tips and pointers on how to mud the trim and blend it to match the wall. Can anyone help?

You ought to move this down to the Patching and Plaster forum as this is a sheetrock question that really doesn't have anything to do with windows other than THAT is where the sheetrock happens to be located.
From my own experience with that type corner, you just nail it on, and mud it over just like any other corner. It will take several coats and feather it out on the far edges, then sand to finish and paint.
Personally, I like wood extensions and mouldings and don't use this method, but it ain't my house :)
