Are there any problems for installing a recessed light in bathroom? The bathroom I am buiding has low clearance so I want to install recessed light near the shower area but not over the shower. Is there any specific housing and bulb and trim that should be used for bathroom?

I would suggest a vent fan ALONG with the recessed lighting.

There is no problems with recessed lighting in bathrooms.

Actually, I looked at Nutone and Panasocin fans with light and i do not like any of them. So I would prefer to install fan and recessed light separately.

If it's outside the shower you can use a regular recessed can...if it's in the shower there's a special trim kit that has a rubber seal between the trim and the can.

Just make sure you account for the space above it...make sure there's enough room obove the ceiling to get it in there...they also have low clearance cans...

I just installed 9 in my basement and one in a shower.

I bought mine at home depot...just look for the trim that's rated for showers or ask someone.
