Hi all,
I have a simple question...
I have a newly installed entry door..solid mahogany and unfinished. I've stained it and put on 3 coats of SPAR urethane semigloss on the exterior face (steel wooling after each successive coat (except the last). My question is simple....do I steel wool the final coat to even out the final finish? or just leave the 3rd coat untouched. The SPAR urethane was thick like pancake syrup, and on close inspection the door has fine streaks. From a distance it looks fine.
Just trying to perfect technique.
