I am installing a frameless glass shower door (with side panels) in a new shower. The shower pan is cultured onyx. I will need to bolt a couple of brackets to the top of the lip at the front of the shower pan, to hold the bottoms of the glass panels. Will I have any trouble drilling bolt holes in cultured onyx? The last thing I want is for the onyx to crack or shatter. Is it an easy matter to drill holes in this material? If so, what is the best method for setting the screws or bolts? For example, is there a certain type of anchor that I should insert into the hole, then screw into the anchor? Thanks.
