Hope this is the right group for this.
I am looking at using X-10 devices to control a water bore pump remotely. The problem is the distance. In a straight line around 500 feet, but around 1200 - 1400 feet as the power cable runs. Is this sort of distance possible with X-10? If not, any suggestions?

Running at that distance you would need to look at using a coupler/repeater. I've used several made by ACT.
