I have a towel bar(holder) I think it is made of pewter or some alloy?I don't know how old it is,but it is very decorative.The part that broke is what screws into the wall.I would like to repair it if possible.DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS? B

I've used JB Weld (a 2 part epoxy) many times to repair various types of metal with great success. It's available at auto parts and hardware stores.
