my dog has lifted his leg
on the off- white base of
my coffee table (one of
those with a glass top and
a plaster-like pedestal
base. is there anything
that is safe to use on that
type of table tat will
remove the stain?

Wow Stasmi that must be one powerful little pooch, probably a poodle I bet.
Try Big Wally foam cleaner. Can get it at any grocery store in a spray can. Should be red, blue, white can.
It turns to foam and sticks, leave until it turns thin and starts to run. Gentle wipe and cleanup with paper towels. Repeat as necessary.
Excellent stuff, things come out looking like new, including porous stuff like plaster.
