Hi all, I own a vintage 1915 home, and I am currently in the process of replacing the original wood windows, which appear to have been custom crafted withe the house. I have begun installing Corradco replacement windows, which utilize a snap/clip in plastic track up each side of the old window opening, with aluminum clad wooden sashes.
The exterior trim for the windows consists of an approximately 4-5 " 1x4's, wrapped in aluminum sheet metal (the house recieved aluminum siding approx. 20 years ago...I would eventual like to reside the house).
I am looking for sources to help me find a more ornate way of trimming the windows, ie. products and/or construction techniques. Any help for a Noob?:D
