we have an old gas fireplace and wanted to update the unit. we've had all repairs made to the flue and chimney top, so all we really need to do is replace the old unit with a new one. ow hard is this going to be???:confused: help if you can! Thanks Reenie!

This should be done by a professional and a permit is usually required to meet codes.
