Just got my lst trimmer, a Ryobi 765r (31cc-straight shaft-080 line) Neighbor has one and said I should use an Echo rapid loader mod215 60059) that uses 095 line. He also said I should be able to use a blade but manual states that blade should not be use. Any pros and cons on the 095 string, rapid loader and blade? Thanks.

Hello colm!

I agree that the manual should generally be followed. Some custom and aftermarket heads may safely be used, depending on their weight mainly. Heavier heads cause more wear and effort to use for the machine. I do not suggest using a blade on ANY trimmer, because it will ruin the gearhead and possibly more.
