We have a "decorative" 1/2 wall between our front entry and the dining alcove (a la 1950s ranch). We want to take the wall down. It's drywall with metal strips on the corners. What's the easiest way to remove the wall? Saw? Sledgehammer?

Hello,
Heres what I would do...
Make sure that if theres power in the half wall, its off. Then run a sawsall down the wall where its connected to the full height walls. Using a single jack(Small sledge hammer) I'd knock the wall over. Thats the easiest way, but your still left with the hard part... cleaning up and repairing the walls and floor.
Good Luck!
