I just purchased a small stud finder, but I'm not sure how to use it. Can anyone help?

Wall studs are on 16" centers, so that 4'- increment drywall/paneling/boards can be installed on them.
A stud-finder simply has a magnet on a swivel that swings out when it detects a nail or screw in a stud.
Just move the the stud-finder slowly around in the area that you think a stud should be, and it will eventually let you know where a stud is located.
