I have a high ceiling that the previous owner put dark beams running vertically and meeting in the center and then sprayed the popcorn, which is horrible. I painted over them, but they still look crappy. I thought of covering them with the preformed tiles that look like wood, but the area is too large to keep it cheap. Does anyone have any ideas to cover the beams, and neaten it up?
