I am planning to texturize my hallway w/ the ragging-on technique. I have been putting it off for a while because I am scared that I will mess it up. Does anyone have any suggestions/tips about it? ...Or, is there an easier technique as opposed to using a rag. Also, would tape be sufficient to line ceilings with or won't the paint seep through? I have already applied the base coat w/ roller so I'm ready to go.

Hello,
As far as the texturing goes, I would recommend the mud-dobber. Its easy and gives good results(even to amatuers).
I'm not sure what you meant about "would tape be suffecient to line ceilings"? Do you mean masking it off?

Yes, I meant masking the side of the ceiling so that paint does not get on it.
I will check out the mud dobber. Thank you.
