 I AM REALLY FRUSTRATED. WE LAYED A BRICK BORDER AROUND A LARGE SIDEWALK. IT WAS OUR FIRST TIME AND WE DIDN'T GET THE CEMENT MORTAR OFF OF THE BRICK QUICK ENOUGH AND IT DRIED UP. WE HAVE TRIED TAKING IT OFF MURIATIC ACID AND IT ONLY LIGHTENED THE BRICK AND DID NOT GET THE CEMENT OFF. PLEASE HELP!

What does brick cleanup have to do with computers????
Either way, there is no magical solution that will get concrete off brick. Concrete is designed to stick to brick. The only way would be to get a chisel and a hammer and chisel away.

You will love this. Take a sample of the original brick to Home Depot or similiar paint store and have it color analyzed. They can mix exterior latex paint to match the brick. When it dries it will completely cover the stain and will not be noticeable. Believe me, I have tried sandblasting, pressure treating, Goof-Off, and many other remedies and this is by far the most satisfactory. What is more, while doing restoration on a 70 year old house with red brick, the white paint left on the bricks from an earlier porch removal, is now invisible. You will be pleased with the results!:p

What happens a few years later and the latex paint has trapped moisture in the bricks accelerating freezer-thaw deterioration?
